Fix Delta Executor iOS Certificate Revoked or Expired

Complete guide to fix Delta Executor on iOS when the certificate is revoked, expired, or shows "Untrusted Enterprise Developer." Covers re-sideloading, ESign, Sideloadly, AltStore, and preventing 7-day expiry.

Last updated: April 6, 2026

Error Description

Delta Executor on iOS refuses to open, shows "Untrusted Enterprise Developer," displays "Unable to Verify App," or crashes immediately after tapping the icon. The app worked previously but stopped after a few days or after an iOS update.

Why This Happens

  • 1Apple revoked the enterprise certificate used to sign Delta Executor — Apple regularly cracks down on enterprise certificates being used for sideloaded apps
  • 2Free Apple ID signing certificate expired after 7 days — apps signed with a free developer account are only valid for 7 days before they need to be re-signed
  • 3Third-party signing service (ESign, Scarlet, KSign) had its certificate revoked or replaced with a new one
  • 4iOS system update invalidated the existing device management profile — upgrading iOS can cause previously trusted profiles to become untrusted
  • 5The developer profile was never trusted after installation — iOS requires manual trust for sideloaded apps in Settings
  • 6Device UDID was flagged by Apple — in rare cases, Apple blocks specific device identifiers from running sideloaded apps

Quick Fix — Try This First

These 3 steps resolve the issue for most users. If they don't work, continue to the detailed platform-specific guide below.

1

Go to Settings → General → VPN & Device Management → find the Delta Executor profile → tap "Trust" — this fixes the "Untrusted Developer" error instantly

2

If the profile is missing or says "Not Verified": delete Delta, re-download the latest IPA from deltaexecutor.co/download/ios, and re-sideload it

3

If you used a free Apple ID: certificates expire every 7 days — you need to re-sideload using Sideloadly or AltStore weekly

How to Fix on iOS

8 steps for iPhone and iPad.

1

Trust the Developer Certificate

Go to Settings → General → VPN & Device Management (on older iOS: "Profiles & Device Management"). Find the developer profile associated with Delta Executor — it will show a company name or your Apple ID email. Tap on it, then tap "Trust [name]" and confirm. This is required every time you sideload an app for the first time or after a certificate refresh.

2

Delete and Re-sideload with Sideloadly

If the certificate is expired or revoked, you need to re-sign the app. Delete Delta Executor from your iPhone. Connect your iPhone to your computer via USB. Open Sideloadly (download from sideloadly.io if you do not have it). Drag the latest Delta Executor IPA (from deltaexecutor.co/download/ios) into Sideloadly. Enter your Apple ID and password. Click "Start" and wait for the installation to complete. Then go to Settings → VPN & Device Management → trust the new profile.

3

Use AltStore for Automatic Refresh

AltStore can automatically refresh your app certificates every 7 days if your iPhone and computer are on the same Wi-Fi network. Install AltStore (altstore.io) on your computer, then install it on your iPhone. Use AltStore to install the Delta Executor IPA. Keep AltStore running on your computer and connected to the same Wi-Fi as your phone — it will refresh the certificate automatically in the background.

4

Switch Signing Service (ESign → Scarlet or Vice Versa)

If your current signing service (ESign, Scarlet, KSign) had its certificate revoked, try a different one. Delete Delta, remove the old signing service profile from Settings → VPN & Device Management. Install the alternative signing service from its official website, download its latest certificate, then re-sign and install the Delta IPA. Certificate revocations affect individual services, not all of them at once.

5

Use SideStore for 7-Day Auto-Refresh Without a PC

SideStore is a fork of AltStore that can refresh certificates on-device without a computer. Install SideStore following the guide at docs.sidestore.io. Once set up, it runs a WireGuard VPN in the background to refresh your apps automatically before the 7-day expiry. This is the most convenient long-term solution for free Apple ID users.

6

Consider a Paid Apple Developer Account

A paid Apple Developer account ($99/year at developer.apple.com) gives you certificates that last 12 months instead of 7 days. This eliminates the weekly re-signing hassle entirely. If you use Delta Executor on iOS regularly, this is the most reliable solution.

7

After an iOS Update: Re-trust or Reinstall

iOS updates (especially major versions like iOS 17 → iOS 18) can invalidate existing device management profiles. After updating iOS, go to Settings → General → VPN & Device Management and check if the Delta profile is still trusted. If not, tap Trust. If the profile is gone entirely, re-sideload Delta using any method above.

8

Factory Reset (Last Resort for UDID Blocks)

If no signing method works and you have tried multiple signing services, your device UDID may have been flagged by Apple. Back up all your data, then go to Settings → General → Transfer or Reset iPhone → Erase All Content and Settings. After the reset, set up your phone as new (do not restore from backup immediately) and try sideloading Delta again. This is a last resort.

How to Prevent This Issue

Use SideStore or AltStore with automatic refresh enabled to prevent 7-day certificate expiry

Do not update iOS immediately when a new version drops — wait 2-3 days and check the Delta Discord to confirm the new iOS version is compatible

Keep a backup signing service installed (e.g., if you use ESign as primary, have Scarlet ready as backup)

If you can afford it, a $99/year Apple Developer account eliminates all certificate issues with 12-month validity

Never trust or install profiles from unknown sources — only use signing services linked from deltaexecutor.co to avoid malware

Frequently Asked Questions

It means you installed Delta Executor via sideloading but have not yet trusted the signing certificate in your iOS settings. Go to Settings → General → VPN & Device Management, find the Delta profile, and tap "Trust." This is a one-time step after each re-sign.

If you signed with a free Apple ID (via Sideloadly or AltStore), the certificate expires every 7 days. Enterprise certificates (from ESign, Scarlet, etc.) last longer but can be revoked by Apple at any time. A paid Apple Developer account provides 12-month certificates.

Use SideStore or AltStore with automatic background refresh enabled — they will re-sign the app before it expires. Alternatively, purchase a paid Apple Developer account ($99/year) for 12-month certificates.

iOS updates can invalidate sideloaded app profiles. Go to Settings → General → VPN & Device Management and re-trust the Delta profile. If the profile is gone, re-sideload the latest IPA using Sideloadly, AltStore, or your preferred signing service.

Sideloadly requires a USB connection to a PC and uses your Apple ID (7-day free cert). AltStore is similar but supports wireless refresh. ESign and Scarlet are on-device signing services that use enterprise certificates (last longer but can be revoked). SideStore refreshes on-device without a PC using a WireGuard VPN.

Usually yes. "Unable to Install" on iOS typically means the certificate is expired, revoked, or your device reached the 3-app limit for free Apple IDs. Delete one sideloaded app to free a slot, or switch to a signing service with an enterprise certificate.
